ASA Outstanding Instructor Award for 2005

Leslie has been sailing professionally for 21 years. She has logged over 135,000 nautical miles, sailed around the world and skippered yachts in the Caribbean, Pacific Northwest and eastern seaboard. She has taught sailing to hundreds of people in the atlantic, pacific and Gulf of Mexico. She has owned 8 different yachts and has expertise in all phases of yacht maintenance, navigation and offshore sailing. Yet her greatest thrill is to share the simple pleasure of sailing with others. Her enthusiasm, passion and confidence ensures the needs of her guests are met and their expectations exceeded.
